A new member of the Familia!

On Sunday, November 7th of 2010 we adopted Dora from the Humane Society of Greater Miami (www.humanesocietymiami.org). Dora is such a sweetheart, when you come to visit you will instantly fall in love, just like we did. Here are some facts that we have learned about her.

Name: Dora Brinkley-Fernós
Age: 1 year 1/2
Gender: Female
Breed: Beagle mix with Boston Terrier
Potty Trained: YES!! HALLELUJAH!!!
Toys she likes: Dog Rawhide Chews (it's like a bone, and it is really good for her teeth!) You can be petting her and she will be with that on her mouth.


Other things we have found out is that, for a small dog she is very strong! She also had puppies recently and she loves to cuddle. The toys that she doesn't like she places them underneath the bed.

This girl is full of energy and love! Here are a couple of pictures we have take of her.

New Painting!

When you are working a lot of hours a week you definitely HAVE to find something that will distract your mind and relaxes you at the same time. I have tried the gym, walking around the block, photography, knitting, whatever works for you, for me I love painting! This past week I decided to do another one. Not really the creative one but more of an exercise and awaking "the talent" in me. I saw a paining that I really liked and would fit perfectly in my living room, soo I decided to do a smaller replica of it.

Here are all the materials I used:

First step is to place the tape for the lines.

Then you paint whatever you want on them.

Let it dry and then remove the tape carefully.




And this is the final project!!!
